University Celebrates 50th Anniversary with New
Capital Campaign
Spurred by the need to support its steadily growing student
body, the University has undertaken the most ambitious
capital campaign in its history. At present, more than
$25 million in capital gifts and pledges towards the University’s
$50 million goal have been raised including funds for
a new library and information resource center.

Trevecca is pleased to announce that work has begun on
its new home for the School of Business. With occupancy
scheduled for early 2007, business students at Trevecca
will soon be able to take classes in this commodious and

will include a large open-space convocation center and
high-tech classroom space, one dedicated computer lab,

in Third-place Finish
Sweet Briar’s Intercollegiate Horse Show Association
team made the most of its historic first trip to the IHSA
National Championship the weekend of May 4-7 in Harrisburg,
Pa. The team earned 18 points for third place in the overall
Hunter Seat Team standings, just five points behind this

Western New England College Athletics Enjoys Best
Season Ever In 2005-06
Athletics at Western New England College enjoyed its best
year ever during the 2005-06 season with an overall record
of 241-135-7 for an impressive 63.8 winning percentage.
In addition, Western New England College received the
Commissioner’s Cup for the second straight year
for having the best all-around athletics program in the
