Dominican College is pleased to announce a new course: Introduction to Wall Street: Brokers, Bankers, and Bailouts. This course is an introduction to the inner-workings of Wall Street, its structure and how it functions, and its wide-ranging effects in the global economy and world governments. It is designed to give an overview of critical issues confronting the financial world and the investor today. The course will be taught by John Cunningham.
In a twenty-five year career on Wall Street, Mr. Cunningham has worked for the American Stock Exchange as a Managing Director, served as Vice President of ABN AMRO Sage Corp, and worked in Compliance Regulation. Additionally, he was an options market-maker on the trading floor of the Exchange under the tutelage of the late Steve Fossett, multi-millionaire Chicago-based trader and renowned balloonist adventurer. He holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Long Island University and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Manhattan College.
